C3 FOOD CHEST is a food pantry that is committed to fighting food insecurity in our community. We believe that no one should go to bed hungry, and we work hard to make sure that everyone has access to healthy and nutritious food.

Under the banner of our church, Calvary Pentecostal Ministries (www.cpmworship.org), we established our presence as an entity to share the burden of feeding families dating back to 2005.  Below is an overview of some of those programs:

• Angel Food Program - we partnered with the Angel Food Network to provide pre-packaged food to our community

• Annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner - We provided a hot meal to our community on Thanksgiving Day 

• Montgomery County Public School Summer Lunch Program - We partnered with Montgomery County to provide lunch for summer school participants

 

The CPM Food Chest officially begin its operation in 2016.  We are a Free Food Distribution program serving Montgomery County, MD in partnership with the Capital Area Food Bank under Feeding America.

Over the past 9 years we have been blessed to serve over 4,562 families (13,7100 individuals) in the Montgomery County area.  As a partner with the Capital Area Food Bank; we use their platform as our major resource for receiving items for distribution.

Our team is made up of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. We provide a range of services to our clients, including food assistance, nutritional education, and community outreach programs.
